I’ve had the honor of photographing families in and around Austin for the last ten years. It’s hard to believe that many babies I photographed as toddlers are now in high school, and my seniors have successful professions and families of their own. The Austin skyline has changed in the last decade creating even more fun photography locations. What is important to your family? Is there a park where you venture every week? A location that represents a special time in your life? Do you prefer more of a rustic landscape to city skyscrapers? I can’t think of a more personal location than your home. Small details that may not seem like a big deal—turn out to be gentle reminders of a time gone by. Redfin reached out and asked local photographers their favorite downtown spots and included one of my favorite downtown locations for families new to Austin.
